I went to Prague to get both of my cataracts done and also to have lens replacement.
I went on my own and I was so happy to meet Nela my personal patient co-ordinator from “Beauty in Prague”. She was everywhere. Kept sending me emails and text messages to remind me of “taxi coming in 5 minutes”, and “are you OK, do you need anything”. I never felt alone once Nela was at the end of a phone.
It can be stressful going to another country not to mind going alone but once I met my patient co-ordinator, Nela I knew that I was in safe hands.
I decided to have treatment in Prague because of the high price in Ireland (more than double) and following some research I found that Prague clinic is a leader in this type of treatment.

I was examined on a Monday and had Tuesday free to explore the City. I walked around and visited a few museums and yes had a few Czech beers!
Wednesday was my operation day. Nela picked me up from my Hotel and accompanied me to the clinic. We had some coffee and a chat while I waited my turn to go in. She wished me well and waited for me to come out.
I had no pain at all and like a miracle I could see immediately! I hugged the surgeon in excitement. I went back to my Hotel to relax and recover. I got loads of drops to put into my eyes so that they would heal quickly.

Next day I came back for my check-up and was amazed when they told me everything was perfect, I had 20:20 vision. I felt great, so excited.

Would I recommend Beauty in Prague – Yes, yes of course. Half the price and best of service. Way better then I expected
