The best candidates for inner thigh lift are those who loose excess inner thigh skin. You should be physically healthy, psychologically stable and realistic in your expectations. Your age is not a major consideration. The best time to consider inner thigh lift is after you have stabilized your weight through diet and exercise.
Pharmaceuticals containing acetylsalicylic acid (Acylpirin, Aspirin, and Anopyrin etc.) should not be used for 3 weeks before the Face Lift cosmetic surgery, as they decrease clotting time of blood. In case you are a smoker you are advised to stop smoking or at least to cut down on cigarettes. Smoking slows down recovery process and it can also increase a risk or complications.
Before the surgery plastic surgeon will mark the areas where the surgery will be performed. The incision for this procedure begins somewhere in the front groin and proceeds around your inner thigh onto your buttocks. If your inner thigh skin sagginess is excessive, a vertical wedge of skin can also be removed along the inner thigh, this way horizontal and vertical skin tightening is allowed. The vertical excision also leaves a vertical scar extending from the inner groin down toward the inner knee. The vertical wedge excision is an infrequently performed part of thigh lifts.
You will usually remain at the clinic for 2 nights and will wear a special compression bandage, which is already included in the price of your cosmetic surgery with Beauty in Prague. If drains are placed, they will be removed in 1–3 days after the surgery. Garments worn after liposuction are essential to achieving good results following surgery. You will have to wear this garment for 4–6 weeks after the surgery. After a month it is no longer necessary for the underwear to be worn at night.
The plastic surgeon usually uses dissolvable stitches, which do not need to be removed after the surgery. After 2 weeks, you patient can return to everyday activities, avoiding strong physical efforts. In 4 weeks you may slowly resume exercise. Any bruising and swelling will usually dissipate within 1–2 months.
Your newly tightened inner thigh skin will loosen slowly in response to gravity. In 10 years, you might need another inner thigh lift. If you lose weight, your skin may become lax, and you may be ready for another lift sooner.
Bruising or inflammation of the treated area is common, but this will disappear over time. Final result is seen after your scars have matured, approximately 6 months.
You will probably feel tired, sleepy and suffer from pain especially in 1–3 days after the surgery. You will be given some painkillers and tablets for reducing the swelling. The surgeon will also prescribe antibiotics as a prevention of any potential infection.
You might also feel unhappy after a few days. This is normal and is caused due to the stress, general anaesthetic, lack of patience with the healing problems, more pain than you expected or the fact that because you underwent inner thigh lift surgery abroad you miss your home and family.
Some clients suffer of constipation. We advise you to bring some gentle medication or you can buy it in Prague.
According to our client’s experience they did suffer from a pain. However, when you will be leaving the clinic you will be prescribe painkillers by the surgeon. You will probably feel discomfort, swelling, heaviness, and numbness in the areas where surgery was performed.
The specific risks and the suitability of inner thigh lift for a given individual can be determined only at the time of consultation. All surgical procedures have some degree of risk. Minor complications that do not affect the outcome occur occasionally. Major complications are rare.

In your cosmetic surgery package you will receive information from your plastic surgeon what is the minimum stay in Prague for your treatment. This stay is based on the time during which most of complications can occure. You will receive a quote with available dates and contacts on our previous clients within 1-2 working days. If you decide to book a date we will ask you to pay the deposit of £300 by a credit or debit card online based on a Booking form prepared and emailed by you. Accommodation and airport pick-up will be organised by us. More details are available in How it works section.
Our driver Stan will pick you up from the airport. Stan speaks English and will help you with luggage as well as putting you at ease upon your arrival to Prague. Prior to your arrival to Prague you will be provided with Stan´s mobile number, so you can contact him directly in case of any delays. Stan will also provide you with information what time you will be picked-up the following day by our drivers for the pre-operative tests and surgery. Please pack as little as possible as it is not advised to carry heavy items after the surgery.
The flights are at additonal cost starting at £50 / 60 Eur for a return flight from most UK an Irish airports. The price depends on availablity, season etc. We will provide you the list of airlines which fly to Prague and would like to ask you to book it by yourself. The flights take around 1hr 30 min.
The accommodation is organised by us. We will email you the list of available hotels and self-catering apartments next or close to the clinic. The accommodation for one person starts at £30/night or £45 for two people. However, these prices for accommodation are just a guide. The price can vary depending on availability, exchange rates and whether it is high or low season. We will do our best to get you the best price for your accommodation. The list of available accommodation is emailed after completing free email consultation and the deposit of £300 is paid.
While you will be in Prague recovering you will be seen by a plastic surgeon for regular check-ups every 2-3 working days or depending on your healing. You will be also given 24/7 emergency number which you can call. After the minimum stay in Prague which will be advised to you it is safe to fly back home. You will be advised on further aftercare which is necesarry to follow to achieve the best possible outcome of your surgery. Cosmetic and plastic surgery in the Czech Republic is strictly regulated by The Czech Medical Chamber. Surgeons in the Czech Republic are required to hold a relevant license from the Medical Chamber in order to perform such operations. To gain a licence a surgeon first must complete 3 years of professional experience in addition to 6 years at medical school followed by 5 years at a certified department of cosmetic and plastic surgery. In the UK there is no mandatory requirement for specialised training and cosmetic surgery is often performed by general surgeons.
